PreK at Northside—A Safe Place to Learn, Grow, and Connect.

Through hands-on learning and creative exploration, your child will shine in a caring community that feels like family.

A HEAD START
for a Bright Future

Starting school for the first time is a big milestone—for children and parents. It’s a season filled with excitement, curiosity, and maybe a few butterflies. At Northside, we do more than teach—we partner with families to make the transition to in-school learning feel like an extension of your home, where students are known, valued and celebrated for their differences.

Our PreK Program

Our PreK program focuses on three types of learning models.

"Two of my daughters have gone through Northside's pre-k program. It was a difficult decision, but in retrospect, the growth we have seen in both has been phenomenal. They are learning in their most formable years to love God all while they receive a great foundation in their academic studies. The culture Northside has created is special, we have found not only a great school for our children to attend but an extended family. We love Northside!"

What if my child has never been in a structured classroom before?

That’s exactly why our PreK program exists! Our teachers specialize in helping children transition from home to school in a way that feels safe, loving, and familiar. We focus on age-appropriate learning, hands-on activities, and plenty of time for creative play, so your child feels comfortable and excited to come back each day.

Meet Our Teachers

How do you incorporate faith into the classroom?

Christ is at the heart of everything we do. Our teachers pray with students, weave biblical truth into daily lessons, and help children discover God’s love in all aspects of learning—from circle time to story time to science experiments.
